Groovy Skye's 2024 Online Summer Camp is where creative kids can express themselves with incredible discoveries and hands-on experiences all while perfecting their Chinese language skills in an immersion environment!
Groovy Skye’s 2024 Online Summer Camp is a live, dynamic, true teacher-led hands-on experiences. Unlike other online summer camps, Groovy Skye's online Summer Camp and LAB are real summer camps and are NOT static or on-demand internet lesson platforms.
Groovy Skye pioneered the first Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp in America that provides students with an authentic summer study abroad experience without leaving the country. When our Summer Camp first debuted in 2011, there was nothing like it in the United States and no other language school thought such a summer program was even possible.
Flexible Scheduling
Groovy Skye's 2024 Online Summer Camp and Summer LAB are divided into two daily sessions: The Morning Session from 9 am to 9:45 am, and the Afternoon Session from 1 pm to 1:45 pm.
The Morning and Afternoon Sessions feature Chinese language lessons focused on either listening and speaking or on reading and writing. Both sessions include fun and exciting group lessons and activities as well as individual exploration and creation time.
Because the Morning and Afternoon Sessions are different, students get the best experience by attending both the Morning and the Afternoon Sessions. However, students have the option of attending just one of the Sessions.
Accelerated Language Learning!
Our campers interact daily with native speakers and will quickly acquire the ability to communicate in Chinese to their counselors and amongst themselves.
New Theme Every Week!
Each week of camp will feature a different exciting theme such as music, science and handicrafts and every day will have unique lessons and activities, all in a Mandarin Chinese environment.
